Online or offline communication - new publication launched! "Online or offline communication - when to use, what to consider?" guidebook aims to make it easier to find the right channel to communicate the intended message to the audience. It is meant to motivate local authorities to experiment different channels of communication and to work as a reminder and a check list. Guidebook is based on the experience gained in a project ”NEAT 2.0 – New Environmental Awareness Tools” 2009-2011. The guidebook is published in English and Russian. Enjoy! |

In the framework of the project "Development of Environmental Games around Baltic Sea" implemented under the Programme of cooperation between the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety and the Ministry of the Environment of Finland in 2010 in St. Petersburg Russian-Finnish master-class was organised by partners, where teachers from Russia and Finland shared their experience in development and use of games for raising of environmental awareness. Aiming to involve young generation in tackling the problems of the Baltic Sea, the Ministry of the Environment of Finland, the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety of the City of St. Petersburg, City of Kotka, City of Turku, the Commission on Environment of Union of the Baltic Cities, a Finnish NGO "VALONIA" organized a Russian-Finnish comics competition for school students "WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR THE BALTIC SEA". This is our joint contribution to the implementation of the Baltic Sea Action Plan.
