Archive materials in the field of international cooperation
The main aim of the international cooperation of the Committee is to attract the international experiences and funds to tackling environmental problems in St. Petersburg. Besides, the world-wide contacts in the field of environmental protection contribute to the international image of St. Petersburg as a city where environmental issues are among priorities.
Over the recent years the Committee has established close contacts with ministries, city administrations, companies and institutions of foreign countries. The cooperation with the European Commission programmes Life and Tacis, the Finnish Ministry of the Environment, Cities of Helsinki, Turku, the Swedish Agency SIDA, the City of Stockholm, the Environmental Ministry of Hamburg, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands and other organizations became a good tradition.
